Coverage will include the late Jon-Erik Beckjord (1939 - June 22, 2008) ...Sam Whiting from the San Francisco Chronicle, has reported that Jon-Erik Beckjord, widely described as “EB” in both the Bigfoot and UFO communities, died June 22nd near his apartment home in Lafayette, California from an extended struggle with prostate cancer. Mr. Beckjord, noted as one of the wild ones (“Bigfoot badboy,” as Loren Coleman put it) in Bigfoot research and probably responsible for the the term “lunatic fringe” used by the late Dr. Grover Krantz, was born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1939, the newspaper said.
